As a Sr. Material Management Supervisor at Honeywell, you
will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the success of the materials
management process and team at our R&D facilities. Your primary objectives
will include optimizing material handling efficiency and ensuring timely
delivery of materials to support our development schedules. You will use your
leadership and management skills and deep understanding of material and inventory
management systems.
You will report directly to our Sr. Materials Management Manager and you’ll
work out of our Golden Valley, MN or Broomfield, CO location.
As the Sr. Material Management Supervisor, you will lead the activities related
to shipping and receiving, government property tagging and inventory control.
You will provide direction to your team to achieve organizational objectives and
drive functional excellence and continuous improvement.
Your strategic oversight and proactive approach to materials management
contributes significantly to meeting customer milestones, enhancing overall
process efficiencies and assuring accurate inventory control.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
• Manage the
receiving/shipping and distribution processes
• Manage
the identification, handling and location of government property
• Oversee inventory control while
ensuring the performance of accurate and timely cycle counts
• Foster effective communication and
collaboration with internal departments
• Identify opportunities for process
improvement within the materials management function.

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job
posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business
needs and the availability of qualified candidates.
The annual base salary range for this position is $84,800.00 -$110,000.00. Please note that this
salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various
factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and
responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education
and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements. Applicants must also be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of security processing.
**YOU MUST HAVE**
• 5+ years of experience in materials
management and logistics, with a track record of success in optimizing supply
chain processes.
5+ years of supervisory experience in materials management and/ or shipping/ receiving and the ability to guide and lead a team

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain
Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and
negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving
skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in SAP materials
management system or similar ERP system.
