SUMMARY: Duties will be to utilize the Oracle system to search for scheduled eligible orders to create pick waves and follow the process through until invoiced.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
- Using Oracle, and other online formats to process sales orders. Participate and assist in all housekeeping activities.
- Encourage and support team continuous improvement activities and direct team to resolve production problems. Implement continuous improvements in all shipping functions and improve area layout.
- Maintain and track each order in the warehouse and shipping yard. Know status of each order at any time.
- Initiate, maintain, and distribute pick slips to shipping associates. Coordinate with all departments for products and order status. Pulls orders through shipping.
- rack, maintain and distribute parts orders to the parts department team.
- Become familiar with products and part numbers in the warehouse.
- Insure timely and accurate scanning of closed orders to invoice. Enter all freight and shipping data, if necessary.
- Develop goals and operating policies consistent with overall Rotary Lift goals. Assist in developing team goals and performance measurements for the team.
- Insure all orders are prepared and paperwork is accurate for RXO to plan export orders. Coordinate any special considerations and containers.
- Operate PC to include order tracking within the Oracle system.
MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:
• Track and coordinate show specials.
• Assist team in managing area inventory, electronically, and ordering supply materials.
• Perform other related duties as required.
• Adhere to and follow environmental policies and procedures.
• Attend and participate in all individual and team training activities. Serve as a trainer and facilitator as necessary.

CONTACTS (internal and external):
Extensive contact with team leaders, customer service support, sales, RXO, and operations personnel. Customer interface includes written, phone, and on-site visitation.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Advanced business training or college degree preferred.
Experience: Five years, or more, experience in manufacturing environment. Customer oriented, with working knowledge of shipping procedures. Exceptional written and oral communication skills required. Must have solid computer skills and be familiar with Oracle system. Dedicated to continuous improvement and World Class Manufacturing.
Responsibility: Exercise moderate degree of judgment. Work as leader, coach, and supporter in various team and product related activities. Responsible for accurate and 100% on time delivery, and shipping area improvements.
