ABM is hiring a Line Monitor at our T. F. Green Airport.
FULL TIME AVAILABLE
- May be scheduled for weekends and holidays when needed
- Time and a half on Sunday’s and observed holidays
SALARY: $15/hr.

Position Summary Details
The Airport Line Monitor assistance and information to airport passengers.
Essential Functions
- Acts as a Welcome Ambassador for arriving passengers
- Greets and engages with passengers in and around the terminal area to help with directions, flight information and general inquiries
- Explains to passengers what services are available to them at the airport
Responsibilities
- Provides assistance to Porter’s Special Service Request passengers including transporting wheelchair passengers to and from their flights, escorting unaccompanied minors and guiding passengers with visual impairments
- Assists with baggage as required, including pushing baggage carts
- Monitors and enforces carry-on baggage size requirements in accordance with Porter’s carry-on baggage control program
- Manages passenger lines at check-in to ensure a smooth, orderly, and efficient flow of passengers during peak times
- Provides assistance to passengers using Porter kiosks to check-in
- Assists with the grooming of aircrafts to maintain a clean and elevated inflight experience for passengers
- Transfers and distributes wheelchairs between mainland and Airport Terminal
- Assists with re-stocking check-in and gate positions
- Provides ground transportation or curbside assistance
- Alerts maintenance employees about malfunctioning restrooms, elevators, or other equipment.
- Actively participates in Porter’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazards and incidents encountered in daily operations; understands, complies, and promotes the Company Safety Policy
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have Customer Service Experience
- 1 yr. of similar work experience
- Must meet all requirements to receive required airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal (if applicable)
Basic Qualifications:
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
• No experience required and on the job training provided
