Trane in Branchburg, NJ is hiring for a Service Center Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, controlling, and directing activities of operational resources. Ultimately, this individual will coordinate the execution of agreement fulfillment in both an office and hands-on shop setting. This includes procuring the appropriate materials for work completion, inventory management, and shipping / receiving activities. Coordinating job priorities with the Area Service Manager will be an everyday occurrence.

Where is the work:
This position has been designated as On-Site. Location: 25 Meister Avenue, Branchburg, NJ
Work Hours – 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Be part of the on-call rotation for loads departing after-hours and on the weekends.
Flexibility to work overtime/weekends, as required. Approximately 4 hrs. per month
What you will do:
· Coordinates service center resources, including ordering, shipping, and receiving of parts and materials.
· Interacts and communicates with Project Managers and Account Managers.
· Coordinates with Procurement Department to fulfill equipment needs.
· Generates work orders, reviews shipping and receiving paperwork, and inputs information into a warehouse management program to generate various reports.
· Works in the shop, as needed, to support operations.
· Operate power equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts to load and unload equipment and/or accessories from 32’ to 53’ trailers.
· Operate a yard truck to move and/or stage trailers for shipment.
What you will bring:
· Certificate/degree from college or technical school with one (1) year related experience and/or training; or three (3) years of related experience and/or training with HS Diploma/GED.
· CDL-A License required.
· Must have excellent Customer Service skills - need to be extremely comfortable and effective on the phone.
· Must be organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize daily interruptions.
· Strong attention to detail and enjoy working in fast paced environment.
· Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, and Windows.
· Familiarity with the operation of Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls preferred.
Additional Requirements and Environmental Exposure:
· Must be able to safely and legally operate a vehicle using a seat belt
· Must be able to wear helmets, safety goggles, fall protection harness and safety boots to safely perform job duties.
· Must be able to twist the trunk of your body 90 degrees in each direction.
· Must be able to squat and touch the floor with both hands.
· Must be able to reach your hands over your head.
· Must be able to stand on concrete surfaces for extended periods, routinely up to 4 hours
· This position is physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, kneeling and climbing ladders. It requires employees to regularly lift and or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move up to 40 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move more than 40 lbs.
· Must be able to safely use a ladder with a 350 lb. total weight limit, while carrying materials of 40 lbs. or less.
· This role may be exposed to variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, noisy operating equipment and other variable environmental conditions based on location.
This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive.
Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included, but not limited to:
DUI, Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless/Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.
Compensation:
Base Pay Range: $57,400 - $76,600
