Description:You will be the Software Engineer for our team, which is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software applications that meet the needs of our customers. Our team is comprised of experts in software engineering, and we're looking for a talented individual to join our ranks.
What You Will Be DoingAs a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, conducting, and coordinating MS SQL development activities, as well as designing, developing, and documenting database architecture for new and existing software applications. You will work closely with our team to apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Plan, conduct, and coordinate MS SQL development activities
• Design, develop, and document database architecture for new and existing software applications
• Apply the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle
• Apply knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be designed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used
• Correct program errors, prepare operating instructions, compile documentation of program development, and analyze system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition

Relevant Experience:
Experienced in MSSQL, AWS, Linux and/or Windows Administration
Desired Skills:Use of SQL, Python, Views Stored Procedures, and ETLs.
Use of GitLab/GitHub for configuration management to drive system and application deployments
Collaborate with team and others to share operational best practices
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
