Description:The Supplier Quality Field Representative is a
virtual position that REQUIRES FREQUENT travel
to regional supplier locations. Candidate's residence must be located in Northeast US. May require travel to other US and international regions.
Responsibilities include:
- Supplier audits/surveys for Special Processes,
Quality Flow-down Compliance, and Flight Safety
requirements
- Perform Root Cause analysis for supplier non-conformance investigations
- Conduct supplier risk and capability
assessment
- Perform material quality inspections at supplier
locations
- Supplier performance monitoring
Basic Qualifications:Experience conducting quality audits for quality
management systems and special processes
- Root cause analysis
- Excellent communication and time
management skills are required given the virtual
nature of this position
- Experience interpreting drawings and
understanding of GD&T methods.
- Ability to evaluate supplier inspection personnel
skills to determine retraining needs
- Ability to travel internationally if needed to
conduct supplier audits.
Desired Skills:- AS9100 Audit certification preferred
- Greenbelt or Blackbelt Certification
- NDT certification
- NADCAP Certification

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
