Job Description
The Ad Sales Technical Product Management Team enables NBCUniversal’s Ad Sales portfolio to drive revenue and growth. We are part of a cross-functional team that collaborates through the life cycle of a product including conceptualization, development and commercialization.
The Technical Product Manager (TPM) for AdSales BI will be responsible for technical product management of multiple data products within the Planning, Inventory Management, Strategy and Finance AdSales domains. The role requires understanding of the Ad Sales ecosystem. It is the TPM’s job to manage a product development roadmap for his/her suite of products. The TPM may be asked from time to time to participate in special projects that touch other functional areas.

Job Duties
- Set overall direction for his/her products in partnership with Business Initiative owners based on company strategy, business goals and user needs
- Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across the company to drive positive business outcomes
- Stay up-to-date and aligned with Business Initiatives’ strategic goals and objectives
- Own and drive forward holistic product development roadmaps
- Analyze business requirements, source systems, data sources, transformation requirements, data mapping, data model and metadata for reporting solutions
- Ensure high level requirements are documented and well understood by Technology
- Partner with product, engineering and design teams to ensure feature delivery is on time with clear traceability to user requirements
- Define and analyze key performance metrics and use this data to identify compelling opportunities, improve user experiences and produce better results
- Be responsible for overall product quality, ensuring technical solutions are well supported and adhere to company standards
- Track and report product milestones and key deliverables
- Manage and maintain Product 360 on a suite of products
- Ongoing evaluation and documentation of technical product management processes and
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Product Management
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with MicroStrategy (preferred) or any similar reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, etc.
- Experience in interfacing with end users
- Strong knowledge of advertising sales, the media marketplace and technology trends
- Strong organizational, written and oral communication skills
- At least 1 year experience with Big Data, data integrations, data lakes, data governance and data analytics concepts like relational data modeling and data fabric architectures
Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee’s residence.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
