We are seeking a Mechanic at our Everett, WA location to meet growth demands at our facility. The role involves performing major and minor assembly of landing gear components in a timely manner with a focus on quality.
What You Will Do
- Major and minor assembly of landing gear components, assemblies and sub-assemblies, assisted as required.
- Mentor Apprentice Mechanics to ensure proper training on gear build, BAC specifications and any other job responsibilities.
- Remain certified in all applicable BAC specifications in order to remain a Mechanic.
- Read and interpret manufacturing blueprints and other pertinent documents used for assembly of landing gear (i.e. mfg. specifications, quality documentation etc.).
- Interface with engineering, planning, inspection and customer in a professional manner.
- Assume the responsibility of completing the work assigned in a quality and timely manner.
- Work with precision tools.
- Comply with shelf-life procedures.
- Maintain a clean and professional work area and participate in daily cleaning procedures.
- Comply with hazardous material disposal procedures.
- Comply with and demonstrate safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as required to achieve team goals.
Qualifications You Must Have
- HS Diploma. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 2 years of relevant experience is required.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
- Minimum 2 years of mechanical/assembly experience.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.
The salary for this role is $25 an hour, however, Collins Aerospace considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
This position is considered safety sensitive in accordance with FAA Guidelines. Candidate will be subject to drug and alcohol testing per FAA’s regulation 14 CFR part 120, as well as 49 CFR part 40.
