What You Will Be Doing
We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer (SE) to perform a Systems Engineering lead role. The SE is responsible for leading the systems engineering team in preparing for Design Assurance Reviews, Program Reviews, trades, analyses, requirements trace, gap assessment, technology development, Bid and Proposal support, and test planning and resource allocation.
This role has critical influence over technical decisions, aligning staff to meet dynamic critical needs, and providing sound technical leadership in the execution of program efforts.
This role would be responsible for system design, planning, and execution of the program's technology into multiple new platforms. Activities include collaborating with several multi-disciplined teams to achieve system design requirements, Verification and Validation, integration, and customer Reviews.
Requires effective communication skills as this candidate will be interfacing and presenting at technical reviews with program management, industry partners, and customers.
In addition, this individual will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling and perform cost account manager (CAM) duties of multiple IPT owners.

Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to perform requirements management including definition and decomposition
• Flow system level requirements to testable structures DOORS/Cameo or similar requirements management tool
• Perform detail system verification activities including definition of verification methodology
•Ability to conduct a thorough functional configuration audit with verification evidence provided
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Secret clearance prior to start.
Desired Skills:
• Requirements Architecture experience in mature programs, Cost Account budgeting, and EO design experience desired.
• Platform interface definition, and integration and test experience is desired.
• Experience with DOORS, CAMEO and MBSE desired.
• Strong communication skills and ability to communicate and coordinate cross functionally.
• Active Secret Clearance
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
