Summary:
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Participate in or provide support for low complexity initiatives within Business Execution. Review basic or tactical issues, policies, or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained related to low-risk tasks and deliverables with narrower impact in Business Execution. Receive direction from supervisor and exercise judgment within defined parameters while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. Provide information to client personnel in Business Execution.
Responsibilities:
- This contractor will be part of global operation’s investment banking team supporting asset services. This team performs multiple functions including Dividends, Principal interest, corporate actions, proxy and class actions.
- Capturing information about events
- Notifying clients of events
- Processing elections where applicable
- Distribution of entitlements
- Process proxy exceptions related to overvotes, position differences, and mail failures.
- Mail review and distribution.
- Assist risk/ audit partners with gathering documentation on internal processes and procedures
Qualifications:
- Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
- Previous securities/ Broker dealer/ back-office operations experience.
- Intermediate Excel experience with the ability to create pivot tables and vlookups.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook and able to manage shared mailbox.
- Critical thinking, analytics.
- Good communications skills, written, oral for interaction with middle management and key stakeholders.
- Ability to organize and prioritize daily and weekly tasks with proper reporting and escalation as required.
- Ability to problem-solve.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
- Asset Services experience (Preferred)
