Job Description
Position Highlights
75% of your time will be spent:
- Managing strategic product/platform changes to ensure risk and compliance needs/requirements are being met
- Partnering with Technology Leaders, Control Owners, and Risk Managers to identify and document technology risks in-scope for Technology initiatives and platform modernization efforts
- Overseeing control documentation in alignment with technology standards and expectations, and providing expertise on the design, implementation, and relevance of controls
- Directly engaging and supporting Business Line Technology Journeys
- Supporting and facilitating process and control initiatives alongside other applicable control owners for Technology process areas
- Providing guidance and direction within the Issue Management process related to system design and function, and ensuring control remediation adequately addresses regulatory requirements
25% of your time will be spent:
- Accountability for leading applicable components of Regulatory Change Management and Policy implementation efforts within RPS and Prepaid
- Proactively seeking out opportunities to evaluate elements of impacted products against new/revised risk management and compliance publications (internal and external)
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically more than eight years of applicable experience
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Considerable knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their assigned line of business
- Considerable understanding of the business line’s operations, products/services, systems, and associated risks/controls
- Thorough knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies
- Strong analytical, process facilitation and project management skills
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Effective relationship building and negotiation skills
- Must possess business acumen and credibility to help business line(s) to proactively identify and address changing workforce needs
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages, including Microsoft Office applications and word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and presentations
- Applicable professional certifications
Hybrid/flexible schedule
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $111,605.00 - $131,300.00 - $144,430.00
