Description:You will be the Contracts Negotiation Manager for our team, which is responsible for supporting the United States Special Operations Forces with Life Cycle Sustainment Activities, Production, Modification and Integration, and Streamlined Design and Rapid Prototyping services. Basic Qualifications:The successful candidate will possess the following basic qualifications:
(1) Ability to obtain a security clearance
(2) Demonstrated leadership skills, including recruitment, training, performance assessment, salary and recognition or disciplinary actions necessary to maintain an effective team

(4) Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas and positions in both oral and written form to influence successful outcomes

(6) Attention to detail in communications, proposal submissions, the formation of contracts, and execution of other delineated position responsibilities
(7) Ability to recognize risks to a contract and mitigate them with effective communication of the same to leadership
(8) Works effectively in a team, whether leading or acting as an individual contributor
(9) Thinks creatively to resolve problems and influence positive outcomes
(10) Able to effectively support short timelines and multiple priorities
Desired Skills:(1) Advanced knowledge and use of MS Office products, visual basic for excel, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, etc
(2) Significant experience in negotiating successful agreements and leading teams to do the same
(3) Able to set priorities effectively and work independently with minimal oversight
(4) Demonstrated use of innovative solutions to resolve complex problems
(5) Professionalism in dealing with challenging situations and customers (internal or external) to achieve positive results
(6) Experience in Department of Defense (DoD) contracting, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts on various types of platforms (aircraft, ground and naval)
(7) Extensive experience working with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and/or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) and the ability to provided guidance on the same
(8) Ability to influence others with or without formal authority
(9) Prior development of risk mitigation strategies, terms or conditions, and management of change
(10) Experience with multiple contract types (Firm Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable, Time and Material, etc)

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
