This job consists of a variety of electrical, mechanical, and electromechanical tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive manufacturing of cables, prototypes, and production assemblies; repairing field and lab assets; and manufacturing initial builds working with Engineering. Candidate should be able to work from schematics, engineering drawings and models, and work instructions. Candidate shall modify/repair test equipment and prototypes according to drawing, specifications, or engineering liaison. Candidate is responsible for performing all assigned duties in a safe and compliant manner and apprising supervision of all issues that could impact our business.
Basic Qualifications:
• High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks.
• Minimum 1 year’s technician/assembler experience or relatable experience.
• Must be capable of reading, interpreting, and following wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures.
• Must be able to build assemblies/cables in a Class 2/3 environment.
• Must have or be able to obtain IPC soldering certification for electrical interconnects/in-line components (i.e., switches, terminals, contacts)
• Experience working in a production type environment.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision with minimal/no instructions required for routine work.
Must be a US Citizen as this position may require a government security clearance.
Desired Skills:
• Experience with IPC Class 3 workmanship.
• IPC-A-610 and/or IPC J-STD-001 certification.
• Experience with miniature precision devices and components.
• Experience in using a Microscope to assemble parts into assemblies.
• Experience working in around ESD sensitive equipment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
