Description
The NISC IV program at Leidos is seeking a skilled and motivated Industrial Security Manager to oversee and manage the security of classified national security information, classified national security systems, Communications Security (COMSEC) equipment and material in compliance with federal regulations, DOT and FAA security and guidance. The ideal candidate will ensure the secure handling, storage, and dissemination of classified information, while maintaining a robust security program that supports organizational objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Security Oversight: Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for handling classified materials, safeguarding information systems, and physical security protocols to be approved by the organization’s Primary Classified Information Security Manager.
- Training and Awareness: Conduct security briefings and yearly training on SOPs to ensure compliance required to maintain facility certification.
- Audits and Inspections: Conduct self-assessments, coordinate with government agencies during audits and inspections, and address findings to ensure continued compliance. Analyze, investigate, and prepare reports and/or recommendations for preventative or corrective actions in accordance with Government policies and regulations.
- Policy Compliance: Conduct annual reviews of classified holdings to reduce information system inventories to the minimum necessary for effective and efficient operations. Establish and maintain visitor control procedures. Prepare and submit Homeland Secure Data Network (HSDN) account forms as required. Ensure compliance with National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), and applicable federal regulations.
- Incident Response: Investigate security breaches, investigate, and document spillage incidents, report incidents and implement corrective actions as required.
- Secure Facility Custodian: Maintain FAA issued hardware, software, and mobile devices for the Secure Enclosure Facility to include the room access computer. Also, conduct hardware audits as needed. Address Secure Enclosure Facility issues, alarm system, climate control) and coordinate with FAA Facilities Operations team to resolve issues.
- Risk Management: Identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies to protect classified assets.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and 2-4 years of relevant experience or a Master’s and less than two years relevant experience required. Additional years’ experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
- Active Security clearance with eligibility for access to classified information.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in security management or a related role
- In-depth knowledge of applicable government regulations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency with security-related systems, such as Defense Information Security System (DISS).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Accreditation/certification in personnel, industrial, and/or physical security (ISP, PSC, etc.)
- Experience managing special access programs (SAP) or sensitive compartmented information facilities (SCIFs).

Pay Range $50,700.00 - $91,650.00
