Overview
Recyclers are responsible for picking up, processing and organizing steady flowing recyclable goods. These include but not limited to large cardboard items, plastic, scrap, refuse and wooden shipping pallets. These items are processed through our clients'' balers which the employee will be trained on baler safety protocols and distribution of bales. Everyone is responsible for maintaining a safe, respectful and heathy work environment.

Essential Functions
- Communicate professionally at all times with client, teammates and other contractors.
- Employee is responsible for operating in assigned areas and possible use of balers. These areas are subject to change on any given day depending on the client’s needs.
- Employee is further responsible for the safe transportation, loading, and unloading of recyclable goods.
- Complies with all safety, security, compliance and safety standards and procedures established by ABM and our Client.
Responsibilities
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the facility to access work assigned areas, machinery, recycling goods, etc.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
- Constantly positions self to maintain floor pallets and boxes.
- Constantly operates hand cutting tools to break down boxes
- Frequently moves boxes or pallets weighing up to 20 pounds across processing area for various needs.
- Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder to service bale operations.
- Occasionally works in outdoor weather conditions

Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must meet all requirements to receive required site badges, including successful completion of a background check.
A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
