As a program Harness & Interconnect lead in Skunk Works®, you will play an integral role as liaison between our design engineering teams and the elite women and men responsible for building tomorrow’s future in an advanced manufacturing and technology facility. You will work amongst a team of specialized and professionally diverse engineers to produce electrical wiring schematic models/diagrams and design electrical power systems, work with other subsystems engineers to establish electrical loads and wiring requirements for various subsystem components, create supplier statements of work and management thereof, and work with manufacturing during build up to troubleshoot systems.
The ideal candidate would be located in Marietta, Georgia. This position could be performed in Fort Worth, Texas or Palmdale, California as alternatives.
Candidate must be a US Citizen. Our team supports programs that may require additional special access in addition to a DoD Secret clearance.
Key duties for this position include:
- This is a lead position, you will be leading a small team of electrical engineers to support the stand-up and production phases for a complex program with coordination of Program Management
- You will be responsible for guiding this team to complete weekly tasks, manage workloads, integrate and coordinate with other vehicle systems leads and support digital tool development
- You will work in parallel with design engineering, systems engineering, quality engineering, manufacturing engineering, and production operations to ensure programmatic milestones are met
- You will be responsible for the execution of deliverables from your team to the respective stakeholders.

Discover Marietta.Basic Qualifications:- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, equivalent experience/combined education considered.
- Active DoD Secret clearance within the last 5 years
- Knowledge of industry electrical wire harness assembly fabrication and installation methods and processes
- Experience with air vehicle harnesses, wiring or cable design/schematics
- Ability to effectively present technical information to non-technical audiences
- Experience and knowledge of meeting customer contractual requirements
Desired Skills:- Experience with Capital Logic, JEDI or Mentor Graphics highly desired
- Experience working on a small team covering all aspects of system design from concept through testing
- Generating specifications and statements of work for development/procurement of systems and components
- Managing subcontractors developing/supplying systems/components
- Previous lead experience, formal or informal, over a small team of engineers
- Demonstrated interpersonal and collaboration skills required in a team environment

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
