Security Administrative Specialist
Key Role:
Provide mission-critical administrative and clerical support to our clients in the Army. Serve as the Administrative Specialist responsible for planning, coordinating, and performing various administrative services required to accomplish the work of the organization. Provide technical advice, guidance, and assistance in administrative areas. Use Microsoft Word to prepare documents and communications from written material, brief instructions, or voice recordings pertaining to military and non-military correspondence, narrative and tabulated reports, and travel documents. Utilize knowledge of regulations and procedures to determine number of copies required and to arrange material in proper formats. Proofread completed work for accuracy in spelling, grammatical construction, and punctuation. Perform other administrative or clerical support services as required.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience in an administrative professional role
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Teams, and Adobe Acrobat
Experience maintaining calendars using Microsoft Outlook and Teams
Knowledge of English grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and style
Ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels to assist in the planning and coordination of activities
Ability to follow directions and learn quickly
Ability to maintain budgetary, timekeeping, evaluation, and training records using systems such as ATAAPS and TAPES
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
HS diploma or GED
Additional Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in an administrative professional role
Experience with government system and process administration
Experience supporting DoD components
Experience managing multiple concurrent activities of varying complexity, including changing priorities and short turn-around times
Knowledge of military or governmental standardized document formats
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent detail-oriented, organizational, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $51,600.00 to $105,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
