Description:You will be the International Trade Compliance professional for our dynamic, dedicated International Trade Compliance Program Support team. Our team is responsible for ensuring compliance with U.S. Export Laws and Regulations, specifically the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), to support program execution and new business opportunities.
What You Will Be Doing
As the International Trade Compliance professional, you will be responsible for drafting and managing export authorizations and providing support to multiple Empowered Officials. Your responsibilities will include:
• Draft and manage export authorizations to support program execution and new business opportunities (DSP-5, DSP-73, etc).
• Provide support to multiple Empowered Officials, collaborate on client guidance, and ensure compliance with exemption and exception usage, terms and conditions of approved export authorizations and research/interpret complex U.S. Government regulations such as the ITAR and EAR.
• Collaborate and partner with program managers, internal functions, and senior leadership to define licensing requirements and prepare export authorization applications as well as proviso reconsiderations in compliance with the ITAR and EAR.
• Review and approve international shipments, foreign travel, incoming foreign visitors, release of technology and technical data, and procurement requests.
• Support process improvement activities.

Basic Qualifications:
Proven understanding of U.S. Export Laws and
Regulations, specifically with knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
Proven experience in preparing and submitting export authorizations.
Familiarity with export and import practices, as well as industry standards and best practices.
Adept at interpreting regulations.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
3 years experience in similar field with Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, or equivalent direct experience/combined education.
Desired Skills:
Experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry highly preferred.
Knowledge of Commodity Jurisdiction and Classification.
Familiarity with Technical Assistance Agreement (TAA) and Manufacturing License Agreement (MLA) preparation and administration.
Excellent time management and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical or legal concepts into clear, concise language that is easily understood by both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
