Trane Technologies Residential HVAC and Supply business offers a broad portfolio of energy efficient heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, air quality products, home automation and parts support. We are currently hiring for IT Project Manager to join our Residential HVAC team. This role will partner with key strategic business unit stakeholders and IT delivery teams to manage complex projects to ensure the completion of milestones within budget and on time. Provides business and system expertise to identify, evaluate and develop specifications and procedures that meet the user requirements. Allocates resources and assigns tasks to ensure objectives are met. This role will track performance and progress of project, communicates the status to stakeholders and leaders, and escalates issues as needed. Additional responsibilities include recommendation to business on process and product improvements, applies business and industry expertise in developing and presenting innovative business solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Manages IT projects by managing resources, tasks, risks, financials, stakeholder communications, project process compliance.
- Track’s performance and progress of project against projected timeline.
- Interfaces and allocates resources and assigns tasks with team members and individuals in other functions to ensure objectives are met.
- Coach and direct other IT project managers and ensure standard work is being followed.
- Ensure project financials are tracked to budget and reviewed with financial partners.
- Coordinates and communicates with business program managers, solution delivery teams, and SBU business stakeholders
- Recommends business process and product improvements within multiple lines of customer's business.
- Applies business and industry expertise in developing and presenting innovative business solutions.
- Provides business and system expertise to identify, evaluate and develop specifications and procedures that meet user requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree; Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related
- 10+ years project management experience
- Experience in in either leadership and/or business analysis with a demonstrated history of success and progression is required
- Agile Scrum Master experience and certification preferred
- Proven history leading large and complex projects to successful delivery
- Good knowledge of Process Modeling and Analysis, Project Management, Business case development, Problem solving Techniques
- Proven experience in presenting to executive audiences
- Ability to influence without authority
- Project Management experience including both the financial and execution side
- Strong analytical capability, especially as it pertains to business processes
- Results driven attitude
- Business acumen
- External awareness of industry technology trends
- Travel up to 10% could be possible in the future
