Description:**Open for 1st, 2nd or weekend shift, 4X10 (Tuesday through Friday shift)**
You will be a Test Operator for our Manufacturing team. Our team is responsible for performing recurring testing operations on a variety of electrical, mechanical, and optical hardware to ensure conformance with technical and operational requirements.
What You Will Be Doing
As a Test Operator, you will be responsible for performing tests and evaluations on subsystems, troubleshooting and analyzing failures, and recommending changes to tests and testing procedures. You will work from prints, schematics, and other documentation to perform tests, and use automated and manual test equipment to verify performance. Your responsibilities will include:
• Performing recurring testing operations on electrical, mechanical, and optical hardware • Using automated and manual test equipment to test and evaluate subsystems
• Troubleshooting and analyzing failures or malfunctions to determine cause and submit rework recommendations
• Performing minor repairs and retesting reworked or modified subsystems
• Observing, recording, and analyzing test data, and making computations and calculations as required
• Recommending changes to tests and testing procedures to facilitate documentation accuracy and audit readiness
• Maintaining logs and records, demonstrating equipment operations, and training other technicians as required

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Candidate must be a US Citizen and can obtain a Department of Defense Secret clearance.
- Ability to use scopes, multimeters, power generators, Torque and Precision measuring tools in the testing and verification of electrical, electronic, and electro-optical assemblies. Ability to apply epoxy / adhesives as per written directions.
- Must be able to follow written procedures and policies, as directed thru computer software, Functional Test Plans, and manufacturing Process Plans.
- Must be able to lift / carry up to 30 lbs
- Must have the ability to work 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or "D" shift (3 x 12 hrs F/Sa/Su) as required in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement between Lockheed Martin and the UAW.
Desired Skills:
1) Prior experience with testing / troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and/or optical hardware.
2) Two-year degree in electronics, or one-year technical schooling in electronics and one year test experience, or two years military service with electronic schooling and applied test experience.
3) Strong interpersonal communication and teaming skills.
4) Critical thinking and problem solving.
5) Familiarity with automated and manual test equipment.
6) Active DOD Secret Clearance
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
