Description:You will be the Environmental, Safety and Health (ESH) Engineer Sr for the Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) team at our Grand Prairie, Texas campus. Our team is responsible for supporting the research, design, test, production, assembly, and transportation of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems, while ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
What You Will Be Doing As the ESH Engineer Sr, you will be responsible for driving ESH compliance efforts and enhancing essential programs across our local and business sites. You will support a variety of program activities within the ESH organization, including but not limited to Industrial & Contractor Safety, Injury/Illness Prevention, Incident Investigations, Electrical & Fire Safety, Machine Guarding, and Lockout Tagout Program.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Supporting ESH program activities, program management, and compliance efforts
• Developing, collecting, maintaining, and analyzing program documents, metrics, and evaluations
• Conducting training, inspections, and assessments for ESH programs
• Interpreting, applying, auditing, and communicating regulatory compliance requirements across the organization
• Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Utilizing computer-based tools and applications to support ESH efforts

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or ESH-related discipline with at least with 5+ years of professional experience; or 3+ years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree
• Competent with regulatory and consensus standards such as OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, TCEQ, etc.
• Experience in Environmental, Safety & Health disciplines such as developing, collecting, maintaining and analyzing program documents, presenting metrics, evaluations and/or inspections, assessments, conducting training for ESH programs.
• Ability to interpret, apply, audit, and communicate (both orally and in writing) regulatory compliance requirements, across all levels of the organization.
• Establish and maintain effective and productive customer relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to obtain U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Skills:• Excellent project management skills with an emphasis on developing innovative solutions to execute our allocated budget.
• Knowledge of and experience with ESH management system elements, such as ISO 14001/45001 and/or OSHA VPP; Lead auditor certification a plus.
• ASP, CSP, CHST, CIH certification is a plus.
• Understanding of union environments and collective bargaining agreements.
• Ability to make difficult decisions, solve complex issues and influence ESH cultural improvement.
• Ability to respond to internal and external issues to maintain regulatory compliance and enhance the employee experience.
• Experience authoring command media and program documentation.
• Experience in change management and planning activities as they relate to ESH integration and considerations.
• Lean Six Sigma green or black belt or other continuous improvement tools and techniques knowledge, including thorough root cause analysis and mistake-proofing processes.
• Proficient in reporting and accounting tools used at the site, such as SAP and Lockheed Martin developed systems.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
