Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Center and Medspa In Tysons Corner is looking for an experienced full time Surgical Assistant/Medical Assistant with Face and Body plastic and cosmetic surgery experience, EMR practical knowledge to join our team.
Surgical experience in Facial and Body Plastic Surgery is a must.
The perfect candidate is comfortable and can be first assist in surgeries ( facial & Body plastic surgery).
The perfect candidate will own the role by staying on top of the surgical suite needs while helping with the Medspa side. Experience in Injectables is a must.
Will assist doctors with patient consults and procedures by obtaining consents, input comprehensive EMNs for each encounter, set up instruments for minor in office procedures, mix and draw syringes of neurotoxins, numbing agents, medications, scribe, etc.
The right person will be a team player, flexible, and able to multitask in a fast paced and exciting environment, and willing to move between our offices in Reston/ Tysons/ Dulles as needed.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
o Must possess exceptional customer service skills

o Must have EMR experience (Nextech preferred)
o Experience with inventory/stocking medical supplies
o Professional demeanor
o Bi-lingual a plus
o willing to partake in raising awareness about among our clients and audience by partaking in social media initiative and content creation.
o Set up and maintain sterile field, drape, clean, prep, and assist multiple surgeons with facial and body surgeries including facelifts, eyelid surgeries, and minor procedures
o Clean and prep room for next patient
o Clean and sterilize instruments
o Clean and test autoclave
o Order, stock, and maintain medical and surgical supply inventory
o Follow up with patients after surgeries as needed the evening of the surgery.
o Assisting Physician with clinical procedures and surgeries
o Screening patients to prepare for physician examination
o Assisting physician with general patient care and medical coding
o Cleaning and stocking exam rooms
o Scribing patient visit in Nextech
o Following up with patients as needed
o Sterilizing instruments and weekly autoclave testing
o Ordering supplies, keeping inventory stocked, and moving expirable products on timely basis
o Post op surgical care and dressing change
o Ability to start IVs
Qualifications and Skills
o Must have at least 2 years Surgical assisting experience
o Must have at least 2 years EMR scribing experience
o surgical technologist certification is a plus.
O Experience in credentialing AAAHC surgery centers is a plus.

Compensation commensurate with experience. Full-Time, our hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and some weekends, depending on location.
