Description:You will be a Senior Quality Engineer for Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (LM-MFC), Special Operations Forces - Global Logistics Support Services (SOF-GLSS) in Northwest Florida. Our team is responsible for supporting SOFGLSS Fixed Wing Development programs and providing oversight of subcontract programs for various aircraft platforms.
What You Will Be DoingAs a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of modification efforts for SOFGLSS Fixed Wing Development programs, both within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS). You will also provide oversight of subcontract programs for C-130J, CV-22, and MQ-9 Maintenance/Modification programs.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
• Develop and implement quality plans and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with quality standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
• Provide oversight of subcontract programs to ensure compliance with quality requirements
• Develop and maintain quality metrics and reports to track performance and identify trends
• Ensure that all quality activities are conducted in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements

Basic Qualifications:- Valid/current Secret Clearance - Mechanical/Electrical Engineering degree/ four year degree from accredited college or equivalent professional experience
- Proficient Reading / interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, maintenance instructions and use test measurement and calibrated tools.
- Possess excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively with company management and customers, regarding quality issues and concerns. – Ability to perform duties satisfactorily with minimal direction or management oversight
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications to include Email, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as a minimum.
- Willing to work any shift and weekends as required. Focus area will be Fixed Wing Development programs, but will also support AC130J modification, C-130 Isochronal Maintenance and CV-22 Maintenance programs both CONUS/OCONUS - Proficient in the presentation and sell-back of aircraft modifications/final product to DCMA/USG customer - Must be willing to travel at least 50-75% of the time both domestic and international
Desired Skills:- C130J and CV22 series aircraft electrical/structures/mechanical/avionics modification and/or maintenance experience a plus.
- Eight (8) years military aircraft electrical/mechanical/avionics application
- Five (5) years of experience in Quality Engineering/Inspections
- Capable of inspecting-hydraulic, power plant, flight control, pneumatic, fuels, emergency systems, structural maintenance / repairs on sub-assemblies / major assemblies on all aircraft and in back shops.
- Experience with Military Aircraft Developmental Modification/GFE supplied Kit Installation processes a plus.
- AS9100 Internal Auditor
- Weight and Balance experience.
