LOCATION: Milwaukee, WI (and various unanticipated locations throughout the US subject to authorization from management)
DUTIES: Create solutions to automate and improve development and release processes. Create and maintain Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to automate deployments. Create and maintain applications in a Cloud Computing environment using AWS, Apigee and Cloud Foundry Solutions. Collaborate with Engineering and Solutions teams to review software enhancements and provide design feedback. Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents. Provide after-hours and on-call support for client service delivery. Enforce adherence to architectural standards and principles. Implement and support Enterprise Security solutions. Monitor application alerts and implement corrective measures. Identify the underlying cause of the incident and determine the extent of impact on systems/services. Assess the impact and risk of changes before implementation and coordinate and ensure that alerts are in place for every code iteration. Manage certificate lifecycle for various SSL certs and request and obtain digital certs from a Certificate Authority (CA) or an internal certificate management system.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 4 years in any job title involving DevOps engineering experience. Prior experience must include: Scripting with Python and Bash; Scripting and building dashboard with Splunk; Working with IaaS, PaaS, AWS and Postman; Implementing Restful APIs and web services; Implementing and supporting Enterprise Security solutions; and integrating and deploying applications using Concourse, Harness, Bitbucket or Gitlab.
