About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Strategy & Planning Consultant in Consumer and Small Business Banking Operations. This role will help support the work for the enterprise-wide transformational program designed to move Wells Fargo to an industry leading Customer service model. The Contact Center transformation program is a multi- year initiative spanning all contact centers across the enterprise with a focus on modernizing our technology infrastructure and enabling consistency to drive improvements in customer experience and operational effectiveness.
In this role, you will:- Assist on strategic planning initiatives, to support large-scale transformation projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct research and analysis, to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform strategic decision-making.
- Assist in the development of detailed project plans, timelines, and roadmaps for transformation initiatives, coordinating across teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Contribute to stakeholder communication efforts, by preparing presentations, reports, and summaries to highlight key project insights and updates
- Support cross-functional teams, in problem-solving sessions, providing data-driven insights and innovative recommendations.
- Track and report progress, against defined goals and objectives, identifying potential bottlenecks and recommending solutions.
- Develop expertise, in transformation methodologies and tools, gaining hands-on experience and building a foundation for future leadership roles.
Required Qualifications:- 2+ years of Strategy and Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:- 2+ years of experience leading or supporting large scale business or technology transformation programs in a banking environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and Teams) skills
- Experience developing customized reports and ad hoc analyses to make recommendations
- Experience managing communications and documentation projects
- Large-scale project management skills
- Strong analytical skills, ability to use data to solve business problems.
- Ability to lead projects/initiatives with high risk and complexity
- Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
- Experience at a Big 4 or other Management Consulting Top Tier Fir
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic initiatives
- Experience in supporting cross-organizational strategic initiatives, transformation initiatives, and/or change management initiatives at a large bank with the ability to drive change in a consistent and well aligned manner
- Good interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to function as an individual contributor and also to work in large teams
- Intellectually curious with strong analytical skills, including demonstrated ability to draw actionable insights and building strategies against the analysis
Job Expectations:- Position offers a hybrid work schedule in which you are required to work in office 3 days per week at a minimum in one of the locations listed below.
