Boeing's Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) organization is seeking a 3rd Shift Facilities Maintenance Manager(Level K) to join our team located in Puyallup, Washington at our Frederickson Boeing site.
This position will lead a diverse team within facilities and maintenance, contracted services, and/or regional services activities. You will lead and manage employees with a variety of specialized craft skills to include electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, boiler & waste treatment operations, and crane maintenance.
You may be required to work off shift, weekends and holidays in support of the facilities work statement as needed. You will participate in weekend duty rotation, approximately three to five weekends annually.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, develop, coach, and motivate employees
Promote and maintain a healthy safety culture
Maintain/improve service culture and improve the efficiency of the organization
Collaborate with multiple business partners, other sites, and Facilities service teams
Specific services expected to lead: maintenance teams (self-performing or supplier based), customer interface activities, asset renewal strategy efforts, surplus sales, and other regional activities
Lead diverse teams, initiatives, and projects to create a significant change in how service delivery is performed with demonstrated improvement to cost and quality
Lead conflict management and team collaboration; develop talent across the team
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners
Promote employee engagement and build an organizational culture that fosters safety and quality performance; improve employee satisfaction and retention of our skilled workforce
Learn and then lead Boeing problem solving (BPS) and lean efforts
Learn and then lead with a Seek, Speak & Listen (SS&L) mindset
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role
3+ years of experience in an engineering, facilities and/or maintenance role in a manufacturing environment
Experience working with MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Willingness to work 3rd shift as required
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Mechanical, electrical, and/or facilities maintenance background
Experience effectively managing team workloads
Self-starter; ability to demonstrate competencies in conflict and crisis management, collaboration, process improvement, people development
5+ years of experience mentoring, coaching, guiding, and leading others
5+ years of experience communicating to employees, customers, peers, and all levels of leadership
Shift:
This position is for 3rd shift. Flexibility required to provide support across shifts if needed on occasion.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $115,600 - $156,000
