What does a successful Technical Project Manager do at Fiserv?
A successful Technical Project Manager at Fiserv provides the structure and framework for projects, ensuring all activities align with project objectives and serve as the client’s primary point of contact. They manage project-level parameters, lead scheduled meetings with clients and Fiserv representatives, and produce accurate project -level reporting and tracking for appropriate audiences.
What you will do:
- Coordinate activities and communications across all Fiserv teams and clients, ensuring alignment with project objectives and providing a holistic view of the program to stakeholders
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including key milestones, dependencies, risk management, and governance structures for efficient decision-making project plans with key milestones, dependencies, and a clear communication strategy for stakeholders
- Engage in proactive program planning, ensure ongoing program control, and communicate progress transparently to all internal and external stakeholders
- Define and manage program governance, outlining roles, responsibilities, decision rights, escalation paths, and facilitating alignment with One Fiserv objectives
- Manage third-party relationships, including scheduling activities, budget control, deliverables completion, and resolving project issues and dependencies
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, participate in project-level meetings, and produce and present project -level reporting and tracking to appropriate audiences
What you will need to have:
- 5+ years of previous project management and/or relevant consulting experience driving large scale projects in a matrixed environment
- 4+ years of experience utilizing Project Management tools such as MS Project, Visio, and Powerpoint
- Flexibility to work after hours, on-call, and weekends, on an as-needed basis
- Ability to travel up to 25% within the United States
- Current Fiserv systems experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
