Senior Program Manager, PMA-231
KBR is seeking a Sr. Program Manager to join our team in support of PMA -231. This position directly supports the Chief Engineer at the PMA-231 E-2/C-2 Program Office, Patuxent Naval Air Station. The successful candidate will apply engineering technical knowledge and experience to assist all IPT disciplines supporting fielded aircraft as part of the In Service IPT.
Role and Responsibilities:
Provides engineering, technical, and managerial direction for problem definition, analysis, requirement development and implementation for complex systems in the engineering discipline required to meet technical requirements.
Makes recommendations and advises on system development, improvements, optimization, or support efforts.
Performs risk assessments and analysis employing modeling and simulation techniques.
Specific tasking will include but is not limited to:
Tracks, generates and executes Interim Flight Clearances for the test and evaluation of the E-2 platform.
Reviews and coordinates Engineering Change Proposals (ECP’s) and provides recommendations for approval.
Evaluates Operational Test (OT) deficiencies and recommends corrective action.
Reviews platform and systems requirements for accuracy, level and verification method.
Performs systems engineering functions as well as systems safety analysis.
Administration of the Joint Deficiency Review Board process (multiple classification levels):
Management of JRB documentation
Hosting the JRB meetings with the prime contractor
Horizontal and vertical integration and management of work across all applicable engineering departments, disciplines and specialties including Air Vehicle, Propulsion and Power, Avionics, Human Systems, Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3), Interoperability and System Security Engineering

Must exhibit expert level presentation/commination skills as this role involves comminating to senior levels of leadership, internal and external to KBR.
Must be able to assess, apply, and recommend improvements to established business processes; and can balance priorities to work effectively in the fast-paced program office environment.
Must be highly proficient Microsoft Office (Word; Excel; PowerPoint; Project & Outlook).
Must be a self-starter and be able to lead meetings.
An active secret level security clearance is required. Applicant must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret security clearance in a timely manner.

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s location, knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
