Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a Senior Special Technology Integration Engineering Manager to join our team in Phantom Works Engineering located in Las Vegas, NV.
Boeing Phantom Works Special Programs and Capabilities/Special Technology Integration (STI) Organization provides innovative solutions to complex technical challenges. The Technology Maturation group within STI executes development and test operations to evaluate and improve these special technologies. Special Technology Integration is looking for an Engineering Multi-Skill Manager (Level M) to lead the Technology Maturation organization.
This position is based in Las Vegas, NV. as the Remote Site Manager overseeing all Boeing programs and personnel supporting multiple proprietary efforts. This manager will be responsible for leading a team of mid-level managers as well as engineering and test professionals to develop and maintain test systems for proprietary programs. The ideal candidate should be focused on driving innovation, developing people, and fostering an inclusive, safe, and collaborative work environment.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads efforts of other Phantom Works disciplines (e.g. ProdOps) to ensure overall team executes contractual requirements.
Directly interfaces with customer programmatic and technical leadership enabling efficient execution of remote site work.
Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, business partners, peers, and direct reports.
Develop and maintain budgets, schedules, staffing plans, metrics and performance measures.
Provide oversight of engineering employees responsible for developing and maintaining flight test systems for a proprietary
program with special attention to technical integrity, safety, quality, and product assurance.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the location.
Some travel (<20%) may be required. Shift hours may vary for work requirements.
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
15+ years’ experience working in an engineering role, on engineering teams or on engineering projects.
10+ years’ experience in an engineering leadership role.
10+ years’ experience working in lab test, flight test, or similar test environment.
10+ years’ experience in working with classified technologies and programs.
10+ years’ experience/knowledge of DoD Flight Test processes, customers and stakeholders.
10+ years of experience in a Special Access Program environment.

Summary pay range Las Vegas, NV: $191,250 - $258,750
