Description: You will be the Manufacturing Engineer for Ocala Operations. At Lockheed Martin, you can build a career out of making things happen! Ocala specializes in both low volume -high mix and high volume production that has a combination of automated processes as well as labor intensive manufacturing. What You Will Be Doing
As the Manufacturing Engineer, your responsibilities will include
-Be able to develop and implement Manufacturing Process Plans (MPP's) for a variety of electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies.
- Utilize basic drafting and software programs to develop MPP's, design tooling, support equipment, process flows.
- Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing operators to facilitate assembly performance.
- Apply lean manufacturing techniques to reduce cost and increase yields.
- Must have good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Investigate root cause of failures/defects and implement corrective action to support continuous improvement.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college with 2 years of professional experience; or no experience required with a related Masters degree.
- Previous manufacturing experience
- This position will be located at a facility that requires special access and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen
Desired Skills:
- CCA manufacturing experience in accordance with specification IPC-A-610
- Cable and Harness manufacturing experience in accordance with IPC/WHMA-A-620
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
- Ability to work with supply base.
- Familiarity with Windchill is preferred.
- Detail oriented personality
- Excellent process development and documentation skills. (MS Office)
- Experienced with visual based work instructions (creating and providing feedback)
- Ability to use CAD software (Creo and AutoCAD preferred)

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
