The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Contract Management Specialist (Senior and Team Lead) to join the team in Hazelwood, MO.
Boeing’s F-15 Contracts organization has an opportunity for an experienced Contract Management Specialist. The role will support the F-15 as a Team Lead on the Sustainment and Services programs. Specifically, this position will have responsibility for direct engagement on a variety of contracting activities with the United States Air Force (USAF).
As a member of this team and as a partner to the programs, the responsibilities will include conducting Request for Proposal (RFP) analysis, proposal kickoffs, risk identification/mitigation, proposal management and development, negotiations and contract/modification awards, and contract post award administration efforts. In this role, you will represent the company to our customers with the responsibility to develop and/or maintain effective working relationships with customer counterparts. You will be authorized to exercise commitment/signature authority in accordance with the delegation to negotiate and contract for a variety of product and service offerings.
Position Responsibilities:
Exercises appropriate signature authority, leads, and participates in negotiating and contracting for the sale and support of aerospace products, services, technologies, financing and the licensing of intellectual property to support company strategies
Leads the development of junior teammates in contractual discipline
Represents the company in external negotiations to a diverse set of customers
Prepares, negotiates, executes, interprets and administers legally binding contractual agreements of a complex nature for The Boeing Company
Leads coordination and partnership with other internal functional disciplines
Summarizes complex contractual issues, and leads development of creative solutions and coordination of contractual risk mitigation
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s Degree or higher
5+ years of experience with contract management
5+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
3+ years of experience working with cross functional teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience working with commercial, government and/or international contracts
Experience providing guidance to all levels of management on contractual rights and obligations, risk avoidance and mitigation, strategy, and problem solving
Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
Comprehensive knowledge of the terms and conditions appropriate for different contract types, Firm fixed Price, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, cost plus incentive fee, Time and Material (FFP, CPFF, CPIF, T&M, etc.) and their proper use
Strong organization skills and high attention to detail
Capability to work effectively in a team environment while being in a leadership role

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $100,300 - $135,700
