Title:
LCV EUCOM Poland: Sr. HSE Specialist - Contingency
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines for employee and department safety.
- Create incident reports and perform inspections to ensure conformity in all areas of HSE.
- Interact with services personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to research and interpret standards, codes and regulations.
- Determine requisites for and organize audits of company operated properties.
- Keep informed of regulatory requirements and auditing standards.
- Assist in development and implementation of systems and standards to facilitate the capturing and analysis of HSE statistics.
- Solve complex problems requiring detailed knowledge of field and industry best practices.
- Use experience and problem-solving skills to develop and improve processes.
- Provide guidance to less experienced team members.
- Utilize your knowledge of Company HSE programs, policies, procedures and processes, as well as working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements on a daily basis.
- Develop and administer the HSE program to all levels of employees.
- Conducts survey, evaluation and investigations.
- Develop, upgrade, and manage HSE programs, including awards and recognition programs.
- Support the activities of subordinates.
- Maintain records, reports, and documents to meet company or regulatory requirements.
- Produce and support HSE education and training programs.
- Review, monitor, and evaluate HSE site program for value and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree or additional technical or vocational training is preferred.
- Requires at least 4 years of directly related experience.
- Must be fluent in English.
- Must be able to travel to and work in austere environments.
- Must have a valid Passport with at least 18 months of validity.
- Knowledge of all relevant safety standards related to area of responsibility required.
- Requires a valid driver's license.
