Job Summary
Under close supervision, you will be tasked with completing routine assignments as instructed. Your responsibilities will include maintaining precise records of assets and government property, managing close-out and property disposition processes, and ensuring adherence to all government regulations. As part of the team, you will also assist with inventory-related activities.
This is an on-site position, and relocation assistance is not available.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop property disposition schedules in PIEE for DCMA contracts.
- Generate shipping documents for assets owned by the Government, Customer, and Company.
- Support utilization reviews to identify excess or obsolete property assets.
- Prepare and provide property closeout certifications to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate Government support during the disposition process, especially when DEMIL and scrap certifications are required.
- Create and maintain asset property records within the Government Property Management database.
- Assist in training Program personnel and designated Property Custodians to ensure a clear understanding of property policies and procedures.
- Contribute to the physical inventory process of Government and Customer assets to ensure the accuracy of property records and compliance with property procedures and contractual obligations.
- Continuously update asset records throughout their lifecycle in the Government Property Management database.
- Ability to lift to 35lbs independently and operate a pallet jack is necessary.
Basic Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with FAR 52.245-1 and DFARS Part 252.
- Experience with UID registry, DCMA eTools, and PIEE.
