Description: You will be the Subcontract Management Senior Staff for our Procurement team. Our team is responsible for managing supplier performance, driving cost savings, and ensuring technical excellence for complex subcontracts that support commercial, DOD, and international programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Management Senior Staff, you will be responsible for leading multifunctional teams in managing moderate-to-high-risk subcontracts, from development to administration. You will oversee the procurement process, from bid package preparation to subcontract award and administration.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Leading subcontract management teams to ensure supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance meet program requirements
• Developing subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for specialized materials, equipment, and services
• Preparing bid packages, conducting bidders' conferences, and evaluating proposals
• Negotiating subcontract provisions, including price, and selecting or recommending subcontractors
• Administering subcontracts and managing change activity

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 15 years or more of professional experience; or 13 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree. Considered an expert, authority in discipline.
• Ability to lead multifunctional subcontract management teams.
• Understanding of procurement principles, including development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions.
• Ability to manage supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on subcontracts.
• Ability to prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, and negotiate subcontract provisions.
• Ability to analyze and evaluate complex proposals, develop evaluation criteria, and make recommendations.
• Procurement delegation to sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
• Familiarity with modified Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS), performance specification, and complex build-to-print subcontracts.
• Experience working with commercial, DOD, and international programs, including development, production, and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types.
• Ability to support Earned Value requirements and serve as a Control Account Manager
• Ability to obtain US Security Clearance

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and logistics.
• Ability to collect, analyze, and report data on supplier performance, including cost, schedule, and technical metrics.
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, such as ITAR, FAR, and DFAR.
• Certifications, such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), or training in contract management, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations, including export controls and customs regulations.
• Understanding of business principles, including finance, accounting, and marketing.
• Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with supplier performance and contract management.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
