Job Summary and Qualifications
Position Requirements:
· Ability to interact with co-workers in a team environment, promoting a harmonious and cooperative working environment.
· Effectively communicate with all personnel to exchange accurate and timely technical information.
· May assist in communication to customers, departments, or physicians regarding problems and/or specimen issues.
· Protects sensitive and confidential information
· Adheres to company policies and standards regarding security and safety
· Completes assigned courses and training on an annual basis
· Available to work during disasters
· Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:
• High School or GED
• Applicable experience may substitute for education
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
• Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification is not required, but is desirable
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED:
• 1-3 years in healthcare preferred
