What does a successful AWS DevOps Engineer do at Fiserv?
You will be a key partner in driving innovation and optimization within our cloud infrastructure and security. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate processes, enhance deployment pipelines, and ensure the reliability and scalability of our services. Your contributions will play a crucial role in making financial services more seamless and secure for users worldwide.
What you will do:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS services
- Automate deployment, scaling, and management of cloud infrastructure
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability
- Collaborate with development teams to support application build and release processes
- Integrate security best practices into the DevOps workflow
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments
What you will need to have:
- 6+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Services
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps practices and automation
- 4+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or CircleCI
- 5+ years of experience in scripting with Python, Bash, or similar languages
- Current Fiserv systems or application experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and/or equivalent military experience
What would be great to have:
- 5+ years of experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- 4+ years of experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- 5+ years of experience in monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar certification
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and workflows
