What does a successful Senior Financial Analyst do at Fiserv? We are seeking an autonomous, career-focused finance professional to join our Digital Payments Solutions Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst supporting the Treasury Solutions Segment, specifically the Commercial Solutions product line. This individual will quickly learn the $65M Commercial Solutions business, understand the primary financial drivers, and leverage this knowledge to deliver meaningful financial analysis that enhances leadership decision-making. This team member will collaborate with leadership to drive strategies that contribute to profitable business growth and margin improvement.
What you will do:
- Coordinate, manage, and prepare accurate and timely financial and management reports, including variance analysis, evaluation of metrics, and commentary for internal review and action.
- Responsibilities include monthly close, monthly forecast, ad hoc business reviews, long-range planning, and annual budgeting.
- Analyze variances and trends in sales, revenue, expense, general business conditions, and related areas. Identify key data points and trends that demonstrate the relationship between operational, financial, and performance goals.
- Provide insights into monthly forecast decisions, including understanding and articulating the drivers of proposed forecast changes and the associated risks and opportunities.
- Execute quantitative analysis, apply qualitative business judgment, and build strong relationships with key decision-makers and peers across the business.
- Review historical sales by financial institution and product to understand conversion to revenue, implementation time, and the sales organization’s impact on business growth.
- Create client-level profitability analyses to identify common trends/themes and partner with the business to implement meaningful changes to increase profitability.
What you will need to have:
- 4+ years of experience in finance/accounting.
- 4+ years of experience in financial analysis within a corporate environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting and/or equivalent military experience.
What would be great to have:
- 4+ years of experience working for a technology company.
- 4+ years of experience in SAP and Power BI.
- Master's degree
- CPA certified
