Job Summary
Coordinates with military personnel and other Movement Control Team (MCT), for delivery and receiving of equipment, etc. through air transportation either military, commercial or company asset for completion of the mission. Responsible to ensure that all documents are prepared correctly. Responsible for maintaining and compiling records manually and electronically. Reviews schedules and related information and confers with others to determine requirements to identify overdue material and to track material. The up keeping of the daily situation report (SITREPS) military and KBR. Submitting diplomatic Clearance Request for the movement of equipment and cargo.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supports the DJBOSS Passenger Terminal, Cargo Handling & ATOC Contract
- Provide passenger counter services including, but not limited to processing of passengers, baggage, and passenger/baggage security screening IAW appropriate DoD instructions
- Delivers pertinent information for passengers such as schedules, routes, air movement requirements, baggage limits, and local facility amenities
- Conducts space available and space-required roll calls, selects, checks-in, and gates passengers
- Determine military passenger travel eligibility IAW Department of Defense Transportation Regulation (DTR), DODI 4515.13, DAFI 24-605 V2, and other applicable references
- Uses computer systems to provide in-transit visibility over passenger movement operations (GATES)
- Prepares, completes, and maintains air movement’s records, automated or manual passenger manifests utilizing GATES or DD Form 2131 Manual Passenger manifest
- Executes flight dispatching duties, personnel management, material equipment handling, and 463L pallet build up/breakdown
- Screens passengers in accordance with transportation security administration (TSA) regulations with use of walkthrough magnetometer, handheld wands, and baggage x-ray screening equipment
- Inspects and operates passenger vans, busses, and forklifts
- Loads and unloads passengers, and baggage moved on military and commercial- contract aircraft
- Performs lost and found mishandled baggage procedures IAW performance work statement
- Provide support to other departments within Air Operations as mission dictates or as directed by management
Basic Qualifications
- Must possess or be able to obtain Common Access Card (CAC)
- Prior experience in passenger services; prior experience within aerial port operations preferred
- Must possess or be able to obtain Global Air Transportation Execution System (GATES) account; prior GATES experience (in passenger service) preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Must be fluent in English
- Must possess passport book (not passport card) with at least 12 months of remaining validity AND with at least 4 blank visa/stamp pages remaining
- Must possess driver’s license with at least 6 months of remaining validity; validity must be maintained in this position
