Program Management Analyst, Journeyman
KBR is seeking a Program Management Analyst (Journeyman level) to join our Team! This position supports PMA-265 FMS Kuwait F/A-18 Program, NAVAIR Head Quarters in Patuxent River, MD. The successful candidate will support the FMS F/A-18 customer and will provide program support services to the USN FMS IPT for the F/A-18.
PMA-265 is responsible for acquiring, delivering, and sustaining the F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft, ensuring mission success for U.S. Navy and Marine Corps aviators, as well as international partners to include Australia, Canada, Finland, Kuwait, Malaysia, Spain and Switzerland.
Role and Responsibilities:
Works closely with team KBR Team Project Manager and PMA-265 FMS government customers.
Provides oversight for a team providing support for a variety of program and project functions.
Demonstrated ability to track action items, develop metrics, develop, and track risk mitigation plans, and develop and track plans of actions and milestones.
Develop schedule plans to meet program requirements.
Monitor’s progress of program requirements.
Provides support to the PM in program progress reviews and other performance reviews.
Assists in establishing and defining program requirements.
Develops PowerPoint Presentations for ISSR/PMR’s, and ILSWGS, for briefing higher level executive agency.
Maintain and track Company and Government Furnished Equipment.
Participates in special projects as required.
Develops plans including budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for an assigned portion of a program.
Works independently, applies sound judgment to resolve problems/deviations, and obtains advice where precedents are unclear or not available.
Basic Qualifications:
BS or BA degree in a Business, Management or Relevant Technical Discipline plus 2 years of experience OR AA/AS in a Business, Management or Relevant Technical Discipline experience (preferred) plus 4 years of general work experience required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain an DoD Clearance Requirement of Secret. Contract requires US Citizenship.
Regular CONUS and OCONUS travel (~10%) to various customer meeting locations is required.
