Multi-Functional Manufacturing Senior Manager (Level 6). In this high-impact role, you will lead the
J470 Flowline team and the
F-35 Center Wing Operational Excellence team, driving performance and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for developing strategic initiatives, managing cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring production goals align with program objectives.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING As a
Multi-Functional Manufacturing Senior Manager, you will:
•
Lead & Develop Teams: Oversee the
J470 Flowline team and
F-35 Center Wing Operational Excellence team, ensuring high performance and operational success.
•
Drive Operational Excellence: Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
•
Manage Workforce & Performance: Handle employee
recruitment, selection, training, performance assessments, work assignments, salary decisions, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
•
Enhance Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with production, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to optimize manufacturing operations.
•
Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Analyze production metrics and implement strategies to drive performance improvements.
•
Ensure Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict adherence to company policies, regulatory standards, and safety protocols to support a culture of accountability.
•
Strategic Problem Solving: Identify and mitigate risks, addressing challenges proactively to ensure production timelines are met.

• Automated drilling and/or machining experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
