What You Will Be Doing
As a Production IPT leader you will be responsible for driving the production of components and assemblies at multiple Lockheed Martin sites for the program leveraging your expertise in manufacturing, process engineering, and industrial engineering. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in complex problem solving, manufacturing processes, yield improvement, affordability management, and cross-functional influence & collaboration
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing technical expertise, project ownership, and support to the site manufacturing teams to ensure efficient and effective production of high-quality products.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize production workflows
• Assure sites are meeting cost, schedule, and quality targets
• Providing coaching and guidance to empower team members to take ownership of specific aspects of the recovery plan, ensuring a sustainable and self-sufficient approach. Also understanding of multisite critical path to ensure efficient allocation of resources to solution any schedule delays.
• Develop, prepare and present business case analysis and justifications for funding.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a manufacturing related technical field
•Minimum 3 years demonstrated experience leading either
Manufacturing or Process Engineers or direct Factory Floor Supervision.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with successful return to green planning and execution
Desired Skills:
• Experience leading Integrated Product Teams to meet Safety, Cost, Quality and Schedule commitments.
•BS/MS in a technical field (i.e. Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, etc. Engineering)
• Experience with SAP & Apriso
• Certification in a lean or Six Sigma methodology, such as Black Belt or Green Belt with demonstrated experience in Design of Experiments and Statistical Process Control
• Knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001 or AS9100
• Formal Root Cause and Correct Action training and demonstrated experience.
• Experience working in a regulated industry, such as aerospace or defense
•Demonstrated experience in managing capital projects.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
