Our C-130J Maintenance and Aircrew Training System (MATS) program provides cutting-edge training devices and support to the United States Air Force (USAF), ensuring pilots and crews are fully prepared for their missions.
THE WORKAs a Program Manager (PM) for the C-130J MATS program, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing the development, production, modification, integration, testing, and delivery of advanced training devices. Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for program execution, risk management, and customer engagement to drive mission success.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing cost, schedule, technical performance, and risk/opportunity management.
Leading day-to-day program execution across multiple projects.
Collaborating with functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance.
Serving as the primary program leader, conducting internal reviews and customer briefings.
Utilizing digital transformation and data-driven decision-making to optimize outcomes.
Coordinating with the JMATS Training System Support Center (TSSC) at Little Rock Air Force Base.
Representing Lockheed Martin and the JMATS program in USAF stakeholder meetings, Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and customer bi-weekly reviews.
Developing strategic initiatives to expand the JMATS business and enhance training capabilities.

Basic Qualifications:Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated Strong Business Acumen
Management experience with program size >$50M and annual sales responsibility >$20M
Experience Managing Cross Functional and Decentralized teams.
CAM Experience, Risk Manager, EVMS experience and Risk Based Assessments
Understanding of LM Program Management and Performance Excellence policies and procedures.
Return-To-Green Experience on one or More Programs.
Ability to Travel As Needed.
Must be Eligible to Obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Desired Skills:Program Management or Subcontract Management Experience
Experience in Training Device Development Programs and/or Trainer Modification Programs
Program size >$100M contract value and $25M in annual sales
Experience in Managing Red programs and dynamic, multi-project with interdependent scope
Experience Growing Programs Through Introduction of New Product/Services, Shaping Requirements.
Experience in Large Scale Development Programs
Experience in Interfacing with USAF Customers
Experience with USG Proposals and Firm Fixed Price Contracts
Knowledge of C-130J Aircraft, C-130J training systems and simulator product line architectures

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
