What does a successful Senior Program Manager do at Fiserv?
As a key leader in the innovative Merchant Solutions - Digital Solutions team, you will lead complex, multi-regional projects involving diverse technologies, teams, vendors, and clients. You will be accountable for delivering these projects on time, within budget, and scope, from initiation to closure.
This team is focused on delivering the Commerce Hub platform that delivers innovation through fast, simple integrations. With developer-friendly standards, unified APIs, and pre-certified integrations, Commerce Hub reduces development time and accelerates speed to market.
What you will do:
- Leverage your expertise in fundamental Program and Project Management across waterfall, agile, and blended methodologies, including scheduling, scope, change, financials, risk/issue management, budgeting, and managing globally distributed resources and efforts
- Understand the program from an end-to-end perspective – the what, the how, the when, and also the why
- Facilitate and lead communications to leadership, stakeholders, clients, and the broader team
- Interface with external clients, balancing their needs with team capabilities, and effectively manage challenging communications
- Interface and coordinate with internal teams and other program/project managers on cross functional initiatives
- Drive successful outcomes for our organization, teams and clients by firmly yet kindly holding accountability
- Contribute to process refinement, program growth, and improved outcomes
What you will need to have:
- 13+ years of progressive project and program management experience within large scale projects and organizations
- 13+ years of experience in Microsoft Suite, Atlassian Suite, Clarity, and other common Project Management toolsets
- 7+ years of experience building and maintaining stellar partnerships with external clients
- 7+ years of proven experience effectively managing change and quickly adapting to new situations, changes in direction, and altering priorities
- 7+ years of proven experience problem-solving skills from problem assessment to resolution
- Experience identifying risks and providing alternatives and contingency plans
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, and/or equivalent military experience.
What would be great to have:
- PMP Certification or other formal Project Management education.
- Experience in digital commerce/payments.
