Job Summary
Are you ready to embark on a journey where your expertise impacts product results? As a Quality Assurance Representative, you’ll have direct, hands on, and meaningful impact on the products and services delivered to our multitude of customers across both DoD and Commercial markets. Join our team at the forefront of DoD prototyping, design, integration and manufacturing. As a member of our team, you’ll collaborate closely with the Quality Assurance Manager, engineering team, production floor leadership, and a team of Project Managers in order to ensure products are manufactured to their design specifications in a safe, efficient manner.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Inspect manufactured electrical harnesses to IPC standards
- Inspect manufactured machined parts using both manual measuring methods and complex FARO arm digital modeling techniques
- Provide input to KBR Quality Manager regarding established and documented quality processes
- Ensure safe and AS9100 compliant operation of KBR Prototyping facility, to include but not limited to; HAZMAT management, calibration management, shop practices, HSE, and tool management
- Inspect components/products throughout the manufacturing process, beginning with receiving, in process, and through final delivery
- Document Non-Conformance for presentation to the Quality Manager I/A/W KBR Quality Management System
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
- 10 yrs of Quality Assurance experience/bachelor's degree in an applicable field and 2 years' experience
- Ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Active Secret Clearance
- Familiar with Costpoint suite of software
- Documented FARO arm training/experience
- IPC/WHMA-A-A610: The Standard for Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies
- IPC/WHMA-A-A620: Requirements for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies
- IPC-J-STD-006: Requirements for Electronic Grade Solder Alloys and Fluxed and Non-Fluxed Solid Solders for Electronic Soldering Applications
