Learn about the Trident II D5 Fleet Ballistic Missile.As a
Systems Integration and Test Engineer supporting the FBM Evaluation Testing group, you will:
• Be responsible for overseeing the testing of components of the Trident-II D5 missile
• Work with the missile subsystem engineers, test engineers, technicians, test facilities, suppliers, Navy customer counterparts, etc. to construct and maintain test schedules, resolve test anomalies, review and compile test reports or letters, etc
• Support systems hardware/software integration, test planning, and execution
• Support the development of products needed to conduct missile hardware/software testing at test facilities.
• Support the generation of ground test requirements
Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field; or equivalent work experience/education
• Prior engineering experience with familiarity in testing and problem solving for integrated systems (or similar capacity)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required
Desired Skills:• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
• Experience with one or more Systems Integration functions including:
a.) System trade studies and/or System modeling
b.) Requirements and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
c.) System Integration, Test and/or Verification
d.) Test planning and execution with an understanding of all the interdependencies
• Experience with package or component testing
• Knowledge of the Trident II (D5) FBM Program
• Experience with Navy SSP and/or SPF customer and associated contractors
• Active Top Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
