Description:The Director of F-35 Strategic Affordability and Resource Management is Responsible for the strategy, approach, integration and management of the total lifecycle cost of the F-35, with specific focus on Production, Sustainment and Modernization lifecycle phases. This role manages discretionary resources according to strategic priorities in order to maximize the impact and capability delivery to our customers. This position manages multiple program CLINs. In addition, this position has multiple program integration responsibilities including: F-35 demand planning, aggregated demand financial exposure agreement responsibility ($5B), asset & facility optimization, program office allocation, zero baseline target compliance, new business funds, capital management, and travel budget oversight. This position chairs the F-35 configuration change board and manages the Crystal City affordability war room.

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree or higher with related experience
• Experience in a leadership capacity in program management, finance & business operations, supply chain or other functional area
• Experience interfacing with executive-level, internal and external customers
Desired Skills:• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, planning and time management skills
• Program Management Certification
• Understanding of F-35 Program Operations
• Demonstrated ability to integrate across teams
• EVMS experience
• Risk/Opportunity management experience
• Experience with executive reviews, executive visits, and events
• Ability to manage, coach, train and motivate teams
• Self-motivated – Must be able to make sound decisions with minimal supervision
• Strong presentation skills and ability to address complex matters / solutions with senior leadership

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
