Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s OneTech Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Senior Engineer, Infrastructure.
The primary responsibility of this role is to provide on-site network and cabling support for Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina (TBMNC) Campus.
Reporting to the Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) BEV Infrastructure Manager, the person in this role will support the OneTech department's objective to support critical network infrastructure for TBMNC manufacturing.
What you’ll be doing
- Interface with TBMNC departments/business units/customers. Become the point contact for networking.
- Support users use of Toyota OneTech infrastructure solutions.
- Escalate problems that need assistance to gain necessary/immediate help.
- Support customer requests, and deployment of new technology solutions.
- Project Management from intake with requirements gathering to system full testing, documentation and close-out.
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
- Proven relevant technical experience with network deployments.
- Strong relationship management skills, ability to support business customers and operate in a manufacturing or related environment.
- This position requires driving a Toyota owned vehicle when moving across the 1900-acre property to move from building to building.
- Experience with networking architecture and support (e.g., copper, fiber, switches, wireless, AV, voice, cellular, etc.).
- Experience with Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
Added bonus if you have
- Experience with Microsoft Visio and/or Lucid.
- Experience with Jira Project Management Software.
- Experience with Microsoft Project.
- OSHA 10 Certification.
- Industrial Safety training or certification.
