What does a successful Product Designer do at Fiserv?
Gift Solutions at Fiserv is currently seeking a qualified Product Designer to join our growing product team. This is an exciting opportunity to join Gift Solutions during a high-impact, transformative time as we are about to go-to-market with a completely reimagined suite of products in the gift card and branded payments
space.
What you will do:
- Work independently and collaboratively to complete product features end-to-end in accordance to our product roadmap across multiple interconnected products including a SaaS web application, native POS application, and white-labeled eCommerce marketplace website
- Design both B2B and B2C flows and experiences that are easy to traverse, enjoyable to use, and adhere to both universal conventions and industry best-practices
- Maintain and evolve our existing design system in Figma
- Take on feedback and provide feedback to others with grace to continuously improve product thinking, processes, and the go-to-market product suite
- Partner with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders in order to understand expectations, scope, and requirements regularly
- Report to Product Design Lead on a regular basis to ensure expectations are met
What you need to have:
- 4+ years experience creating end-to-end product experiences across a variety of platforms, with the ability to take product features through the entire UX/UI life-cycle from research and ideation to high-fidelity prototyping
- 4+ years experience of visual design with proficiency in typography, color, grids and layouts, iconography, and responsive User Interface design
- 4+ years experience working and collaborating with both product owners and full-stack development teams, with basic knowledge of hand-off best practices
- A polished portfolio of work showcasing both product design case studies and visual design acumen
- Strong proficiency in Figma, including competent knowledge of auto-layout, components, and variants
- Knowledge of design system development and maintenance in Figma
- Positive, agile and flexible — you’re open to collaboration, able to multi-task, and can work across multiple features at a time
What is nice to have:
- Experience designing web-based B2B SaaS applications and/or responsive B2C eCommerce websites
- Experience working in the FinTech sector
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
