Designation: Senior Software Engineer
Total Experience : 5-8 Years
Location: CV Raman Nagar, Bagmane Techpark-Bangalore
Responsibilities
● Develop features and improvements to the Blue Bite product in a secure, well-tested, and performant way.
● Work closely with Product and UX as part of an Agile team focused on rapid delivery and feedback.
● Solving problems by designing software solutions using maintainable, scalable, and modular code.
● Optimizing performance critical applications speed and scalability
● Implementation of security and data protection practices within applications
● Breakdown complex features into manageable deliverables
● Ship small features and improvements with minimal guidance and support from other team members. Collaborate with the team on larger projects.
● Be an advocate for consistent, quality, and decoupled code by writing unit tests and
performing code reviews
● Be involved and participate in the overall application lifecycle
● Be a strong advocate for best practices, including coaching, managing, and mentoring others on how to best build high-quality SaaS solutions.
Qualifications
● Significant experience building web applications with Python as a Back End Engineer or equivalent role, ideally as it relates to building out SaaS applications for scale. Note Language change here - python is the top requirement
● Experience with Nodejs, Typescript
● Reasonable experience building RESTful/GraphQL applications. GraphQL is not a hard requirement.
● Strong experience working within an AWS environment
● Experience with both OOP and functional programming principles
● Demonstrated capacity to clearly and concisely communicate about complex technical, architectural, and/or organizational problems and propose thorough iterative solutions.
● Experience designing and developing an application from concept to production
● Highly motivated with excellent problem-solving skills
● Experience working with an Agile Scrum team
● Excellent communication skills (written, in person, on Slack, over video chat)
