Job Summary and Qualifications
JOB SUMMARY
The Applications Analyst is responsible for the support and maintenance of the Kronos iSeries System. The candidate must demonstrate analytical and problem solving skills. The Application Analyst must possess the ability to work effectively in multiple concurrent projects. Must demonstrate an ability to diagnose and troubleshoot infrastructure (network, security, server, time clocks, etc…) issues. Should demonstrate the ability to assume full ownership and responsibility of incidents and issues through final resolution. Must perform quality assurance and functional testing of software products and documentation with assistance, and assist quality assurance analysts. This position requires the ability to provide Level 2 customer support and after-hours on-call support.
Should be able to resolve simple and moderate on-call issues with little assistance, and be able to establish and meet target dates. Will participate in project and new initiative meetings as necessary. Must demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships within and outside department, including Payroll Service Centers, facilities, IT and customer support.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Pay Policies/Configuration
- Interpret and convert facility pay policy requirements at the direction of the Payroll Service Centers, Payroll Central Team and local markets
- Configure and maintain 3rd party time & attendance software (Kronos iSeries Timekeeper) for major initiatives as well as ongoing maintenance
- Fulfill certain roles as assigned by management, such as overall testing coordination & documentation, special group planning & review coordination, overall help-desk ticket coordination, etc
- Light application development as required.
Hardware/Time clocks
- Support 1800 end users nationwide as second level support on software and hardware (Kronos time clocks)
Customer Support
- Troubleshoot issues with Kronos timekeeping system to determine if the issue is related to configuration set up.
- Work in a team environment with very integrated team member roles (i.e. consultant configuration specialists, RPG programming staff, Customer Support Services, Payroll Service Center teams, etc) to support all major initiatives (Lawson deployment, Payroll Consolidation) and ongoing maintenance.

- Other as Noted: Equivalent Kronos iSeries experience may be substituted.
